Resorts Casino Hotel is launching a new restaurant with local restaurant royalty the Dougherty family, who own some of the oldest restaurants in Atlantic City, in spring 2021.
The Doughertys own Dock’s Oyster House and The Knife & Fork Inn, established in 1897 and 1912 respectively.
The new concept at Resorts “will provide a dining experience to our valued guests that is very unique from what we currently offer, and will be a perfect addition to Resorts’ winning amenities,” according to President and CEO Mark Giannantonio.
“The Dougherty family is known for their commitment to quality and service, and operate under the highest standards. Their strong ties in the community and long history in Atlantic City are perfect complements to Resorts, itself one of the most historic properties in the city,” Giannantonio said. “We could not be happier to partner with such a well-respected restaurateur and look forward to opening in the spring of 2021.”
The Dougherty’s new casinoside concept will join fine dining offerings like Capriccio, recently named No. 1 US Casino Restaurant in USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards, Mukashi Sushi Bar, and EastWind Chinese Restaurant.
