The move, which will primarily impact the company's product pipeline teams, is expected to generate cost savings of $4.0 - $4.5 million on an annualized run-rate basis.

According to a report from CNN, the rebranded toy purveyor will open at least two physical locations in the U.S. this year.

The business, which started in Toms River, has grown from 25 locations to over 425 in 10 years.

Marla Ryan will remain with the company as president of product design, sourcing and merchandising, in addition to serving as the interim chief executive alongside board member Lisa Gavales and CFO and COO Dave Helkey.
