Two attorneys at Riker Danzig Scherer Hyland & Perretti LLP in Morristown launched a title insurance podcast on May 14.
Title Nerds is hosted by co-managing partner Michael O’Donnell and partner Bethany Abele, leaders in the firm’s title insurance practice. In the first episode, Abele and O’Donnell covered recent and pending legislation impacting real estate in New Jersey, American Land Title Association forms currently under consideration, and a handful of the more impactful title insurance decisions that have come down in recent months.
Each podcast will draw on insights from other Riker Danzig attorneys on issues that impact title insurance including real estate, governmental affairs, banking and bankruptcy.

In their legal practices, O’Donnell, Abele and their team have spent decades representing clients in litigations, coverage investigations, and in providing general advice to resolve title disputes.
The popularity of the title insurance group’s Banking, Title Insurance and Real Estate Litigation Blog inspired the launch of the podcast, O’Donnell said, noting, “We have developed quite a loyal following and strong readership of our blog on title insurance and banking topics. We decided we could provide more nuanced conversation around some of the topics if we discuss together in an audio format.”
