A Top 100 Accounting Firm started off 2020 with a handful of promotions, including to its c-suite leadership team, for members based out of its Clifton headquarters.
On Wednesday, Sax LLP announced the elevation of Michael Rolls to chief operating officer, John Murphy to chief marketing officer, and the naming of Adam Feldman and Candy Gordon-Geanoules to partner, all effective Jan. 1.
Rolls previously served as chief financial officer while Murphy was director of business development.
“We are thrilled to recognize Michael and John for their hard work and dedication and have the utmost confidence they will accelerate our goals for the future,” Managing Partner Joseph Damiano said in a prepared statement.
According to the firm, Feldman focuses his work mainly on the construction and manufacturing and distribution industries working in the firm’s Financial Services Practice and Employee Benefit Plan Audits.
At Sax, Feldman manages client relationship and facilitates training programs to educate staff on industry changes, and to lead and develop younger colleagues. He is a Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey and a member of the Construction Financial Management Association of New Jersey, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Gordon-Geanoules operates in the firm’s Real Estate Practice, Sax said, proving assurance, advisory and tax services to privately held businesses in commercial and residential real estate, hospitality, health care and professional services, in addition to high-net-worth individuals.
With more than 25 years of experience, she is a Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey and a member of the AICPA and NJCPA, where she is a member of the Scholarship Committee. According to Sax, she also serves on the board of the Builders Association of Northern NJ.
