Raymond Brown and Gregg Hizler have joined the Litigation group at Scarinci Hollenbeck.
Brown joins as partner and Hilzer as counsel.
The pair will work with Partners Robert Levy, Paul Lieberman and Roshan Shah to lead the Criminal Defense and Corporate Compliance practice groups, Scarinci Hollenbeck said. They will be based in the firm’s Lyndhurst office.
Brown has extensive experience in criminal defense, internal investigation and complex commercial litigation, representing individuals, corporations and government entities in front of state and federal courts and administrative and international tribunals. Hilzer and Brown have worked together for more than ten years.
Hilzer’s practice is focused on representing individuals, corporations and government entities in a variety of litigation matters in state and federal courts. According to SH, he also has experience counseling clients in regulatory and transactional matters related to the legal cannabis industry.
“I had a choice of where to practice, including staying at my previous firm,” Brown said in a prepared statement. “I chose Scarinci Hollenbeck because it is progressive and dynamic, with lawyers I have known and respected for years as well as others with whom I have not yet worked but who present the opportunity for new challenges in a rapidly changing legal environment.”
