Stephanie Edelstein was named co-chair of the commercial real estate group at Lyndhurst firm Scarinci Hollenbeck, effective Jan. 1, 2020. She joined the firm in November 2018 and has more than a decade of experience in transactional real estate matters. Her practice focuses on acquisitions and dispositions of commercial and multi-family properties, leasing matters and mortgage financing.
Also effective Jan. 1, counsel Jeffrey Cassin has been named co-chair of the firm’s corporate transactions and business law section beside partner Fred Zemel. Cassin joined Scarinci Hollenbeck in November 2016 and focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, business transactions, and corporate governance and securities law. He works with media, technology, insurance and human services companies.
Jeffrey Pittard was also announced chair of the firm’s tax, trusts and estates section. He has been a member of the practice since joining the firm in November 2016. Pittard, whose new position is also effective Jan. 1, focuses his practice on representing taxpayers in audit, assessment and collection disputes with federal and state taxing authorities. He also handles tax planning and wealth preservation for high net worth individuals and estate administration in New York, New Jersey and Florida.
