Conway was promoted to senior vice president of benefits and compensation for the company’s subsidiary, Selective Insurance Company of America. Conway, who was previously vice president of worldwide benefits for Chubb, will be responsible for Selective’s benefits programs and manage its compensation plans. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an M.B.A. from Seton Hall University.
Also, Lisa Rosa was named senior vice president, director of corporate claims for Selective Insurance Company of America. She previously served as the company’s vice president, director of corporate claims. Rosa oversees liability, property and workers’ compensation claims, in addition to Selective’s fraud unit and business operations pertaining to the handling of claims. Rosa holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Vassar College and a J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law.
Selective Insurance Group, headquartered in Branchville, is a holding company for six property and casualty insurance companies that offer primary and alternative-market insurance for commercial and personal risks, and flood insurance policy, administration and claim services. Shares of the company fell $1.01, or 1.8%, to $55.14 in early trading.
