Matthew Lippert and Gregory Reid were both promoted to members of Newark law firm Sills Cummis & Gross, while Laura Sedlak and William Wilkins were both promoted to of counsel, effective Oct. 1.
Lippert is a member of the firm’s litigation practice, focusing on litigation and arbitration of commercial disputes related to banking, real estate, contracts, corporate governance and antitrust issues. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York. He’s been with the firm since January 2017.
Reid, who joined the firm in September 2013, is also a member of the firm’s litigation practice, with a focus on litigation involving complex commercial issues including business tort and lender liability, in federal and state courts. Reid is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.
Sedlak, who joined the firm in January 2018, was promoted in the firm’s litigation group. She focuses her practice on antitrust litigation, investigations, and contractual and intellectual property disputes in both state and federal courts. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.
Wilkins was promoted in the firm’s corporate group. He focuses his practice on transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, debt and equity financings, and complex commercial transactions. He has additional experience in appellate litigation matters and is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Wilkins has been with the firm since April 2019.
