Wave your COVID-19 vaccine card at The Vitamin Shoppe and receive a free snack or beverage through May 31, the company announced May 4.
Folks can pick from the retailer’s assortment of protein bars, energy drinks, healthy snacks and cookies on the incentive, part of a partnership with the Biden administration.
“We believe the COVID-19 vaccine can help make our workplaces and communities healthier and safer for all of us,” said Chief Executive Officer Sharon Leite in a prepared statement. “We want to encourage and reward our customers who get vaccinated with a healthy boost to their day…It’s our way of playing a supporting role during this crucial phase of defeating COVID-19.”
The Vitamin Shoppe, which is based in Secaucus, is offering hourly employees up to four hours of pay to get vaccinated.
The “Snax for Vax” offer is valid at over 700 locations of The Vitamin Shoppe and Super Supplements, a west coast subsidiary.
