Solar technology company leaving Red Bank for New York state

Solar technology company Natcore Technology Inc. announced Tuesday that it is moving from Red Bank to Rochester, New York.The company, which has had its headquarters in Red Bank since 2009, said in a news release that it is relocating to its existing operations office at 189 N. Water St. in the downtown section of the western New York city. That office opened in 2013.

“Rochester has been very good for us,” Chuck Provini, Natcore’s chief executive officer and president, said in a prepared statement. “We’ve found some extremely talented and creative employees here.”

Natcore also said it has extended the lease on another Rochester facility, its Research & Development Center located in the Eastman Business Park. The lease extension on the center, which opened in 2012, is for two years.

“Eastman Business Park has everything a research company could need,” Provini said. “And the business and investment communities have been consistently helpful to us.”
