According to the announcement, Ferraro brings 32 years of military leadership experience both in the active and reserve components achieving the rank of Command Chief Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force. Before his retirement from military service in June 2013, he had leadership oversight of nearly 28,000 airmen. His civilian career background is in a broad array of industries with fortune 500 companies and leadership roles in corporate, government, and as a business owner.
