Somerville consulting firm teams up with French company

B&H Consulting Services Inc., founded in 1988, will now be part of the Voisin Consulting Life Sciences family, the two firms said in a news release. B&H will remain headquartered in Somerville and continue to operate under its current name, management team and structure, the companies added.

“We are excited by the opportunity to expand the depth and breadth of services that we can offer to our clients as they seek to meet the regulatory requirements of the global health care market,” Helen M. Ribbans, founder and president of B&H, said in a prepared statement.

As part of the transaction, B&H vice president Stephanie M. Pierson was named CEO of the firm.

“Joining forces with the VCLS group provides our clients with tremendous experience across all therapeutic areas, and the global footprint that they need to accelerate their results,” she said in a statement.

Strategic Exit Advisors Inc. and Norris McLaughlin & Marcus P.A. were advisers to B&H in the deal, while Constantin Associates LLP, Kahn Partners LLP and Namaskar Corporate Finance were advisers to VCLS.
