Speak2 Software emerged as the big winner in TechLaunch’s Bullpen #13 held April 24 on the campus of the Stevens Institute of Technology.
In the event, owners of start-up businesses present their ideas to investors, mentors and students. Speak2 pulled off a sweep of both the Investor Award and the Audience Award. The company was named the most fundable of the presenters.
Speak2 provides comprehensive voice command software that allows senior living residents to make requests to their caregivers using voice/smart speaker technology.
“TechLaunch has provided Speak2 Software with an amazing array of value, providing the guidance and mentoring that has been critical for our growth,” Speak2 Software CEO Matt Smith said. “We are excited to engage with the sponsoring companies to help us grow our business.”
The other companies that sought panel and audience recognition included CATAPULT, a marketing platform that enables businesses to target customers with video; UrboLabs, a universal mobile platform that allows organizations and businesses to interact with users’ mobile devices without the burden of designing or supporting their own custom mobile app; and Ribbit.io, an app that uses crowdsourcing technology to connect consumers to local sustainable restaurants, coffee shops and bars.
