Somerset Development said July 8 that Spirent Communications established its newly expanded office and lab spaces at Bell Works — the destination for business and culture in Holmdel.

Relocating employees from its affiliate Eatontown office, Spirent – the leading provider of automated test and assurance solutions for networks, cybersecurity and positioning – now calls Bell Works metroburb home to 130 Spirent employees. The lease expansion brings Spirent’s footprint at Bell Works to a total of 35,000 square feet, and establishes Bell Works as the company’s new regional headquarters.

“Spirent has thrived as part of this collaborative community and continues to benefit from the incredible energy here at Bell Works. The uniqueness of the metroburb community was the driving factor in our decision to expand our space at Bell Works and bring all of our regional team members to the campus,” said Ray Lee, Spirent’s director of global properties. “We’re thrilled to be able to offer our employees a workplace in which collaboration, inspiration and connectivity is not only possible, but ingrained in the day-to-day experience at the metroburb.”

Bell Works is situated along Crawfords Corner Road in central New Jersey, approximately 1 mile from Exit 144 of the Garden State Parkway, which allows for easy access to points north and south.

Ralph Zucker, president of Somerset Development.

“We are ecstatic to be strengthening our partnership with Spirent, with Bell Works serving as its regional headquarters for the tri-state area. Bell Works’ spirit perfectly complements Spirent’s desire for a vibrant work environment in an easily accessible location,” Ralph Zucker, president of Somerset Development, said. “The metroburb’s central location in Holmdel gives employees easy access to major highways and roads, making commuting as stress-free as possible,” hcontinued.

Bell Works recently celebrated the grand opening of its rooftop bar, Bar Bella, a modern bar that offers craft cocktails and beers. Designed by Bell Works’ Creative Director Paola Zamudio and her team at NPZ Style+Decor, Bar Bella is evocative of a coastal Italian getaway, featuring an array of cozy seating options, lush greenery, and fire pits for chilly evenings.
