Spirit Halloween launches White Castle costume collaboration

National spooky season retailer Spirit Halloween, based in Egg Harbor Township, collaborated with burger chain White Castle on officially licensed White Castle costumes, according to an Oct. 6 announcement.

The two costumes are straight off the menu – the White Castle Slider and Chicken Rings – and are only available on the retailer’s website.

“We’ve heard the demand for White Castle costumes and are thrilled to finally be serving two outrageously fun options to satisfy the cravings of the restaurant’s devoted fan base,” said Kym Sarkos, Spirit Halloween executive vice president, in a prepared statement. “We love the fans’ passion and enthusiasm, and by closely collaborating with White Castle, we feel we’ve developed two ultra-unique costumes that capture that positive energy.”

White Castle’s licensing agency Brandgenuity brokered this partnership and is managing the development and rollout of the licensing program.

White Castle Chief Marketing Officer Lynn Blashford said that working with Spirit Halloween “has been fantastic.”
