Strategic Products and Services announced Friday that it has acquired IPV Gateways, a specialized provider of network security, telecommunications and data center management.By acquiring IPV, SPS will grow its managed service business, the Parsippany-based IT solutions provider said in a news release.
“We are excited to team with IPV, as it possesses the most sophisticated cloud-based services architecture in the industry,” John Price, SPS vice president, managed services practice leader, said in a prepared statement. “IPV’s technical skills and SPS’s client centricity will serve as a truly winning combination for our managed and XaaS (anything-as-a-service) business, granting us the unique ability to deliver our cloud and private cloud solutions directly to more than 600 global MPLS and network providers.”
