SQUAN, a telecommunications infrastructure service provider based in Englewood, has acquired the assets of Strong Tower Communications LLC, it announced Wednesday.Strong is a provider of wireless macro services, according to SQUAN in a news release.
“SQUAN has had a long-standing relationship with Strong,” Leighton Carroll, CEO, SQUAN, said in a prepared statement. “We respect both their leadership and their team’s ability to cover the Southeast and deliver with quality. This acquisition allows us to strengthen our capabilities, building upon our recent acquisition of Osmose Communications Services.”
Strong will transition to SQUAN over the next few months, but will continue to operate from its office in Acworth, Georgia.
Josh Ward will continue to lead the organization and will report to Keith Pennachio, senior vice president, SQUAN.
“Adding quality wireless antenna and line crews to our Southeast team helps us further expand the number of projects we will be able to cover for our clients,” Pennachio said in a prepared statement. “Josh brings a wealth of delivery leadership and we are excited to have him and his entire team join SQUAN.”
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
