Football season means a spread of finger foods to eat while watching the game: pizza, sliders, and of course, wings.

Stop & Shop announced Oct. 24 it would be adding wing bars to stores in New Jersey and four other states.
The rollout begins this month at 187 stores. Eight varieties of wings will be offered at $7.99/pound.
“We know our customers are busy, and our new wing bars offer an easy snack, meal, or entertaining solution for tailgates or at-home gatherings,” said Mark Messier, executive vice president of merchandising at Stop & Shop in a statement. “In testing this concept at a handful of stores, the response has been fantastic. We’re excited to bring these new varieties and flavors to more customers across our footprint.”
The wings, under the store’s private Taste of Inspirations label, are made and fried in store. Options include breaded mild wings, breaded spicy wings, breaded honey wings, buffalo boneless wings, garlic parmesan wings, barbecue boneless wings, sweet chili boneless wings, and pit boss pork wings.
Additional varieties, such as Korean barbecue and mango habanero, will be offered seasonally. Wings are available from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
