Commercial real estate investment firm Strategic Funding Alternatives LLC (SFA) announced it recently acquired a 57,000-square-foot office building in Voorhees.
Located at 1020 Laurel Oak Road, the Class A office building is home to a number of tenants, the largest being Penn Medicine which recently signed a long term lease.
Lobby and common area improvements are only some of the value add enhancements Moorestown-based SFA has planned for the site in order to strengthen the growing health care presence in the Voorhees/Cherry Hill area.
The property is located within minutes from Ritz Center at the intersection of Haddonfield-Berlin Road (Route 561).
“We continue to see a mix of value-added and stabilized investment opportunities in the South Jersey office market,” said SFA Managing Principal Jeffery Schneider. “This 1020 Laurel Oak building is a great example.”
Separately, SFA announced Julia Brines, a professional with more than 15 years’ experience in commercial banking and lending, has joined its team as director of investor relations. In this role, she will set her focus on business development, raising equity capital from private investors for the firm’s real estate acquisitions with the introduction of alternative investment strategies and mitigation of market risk.
Brines will also manage communication between SFA and the investor group.
Prior to joining SFA, Brines spent much of her career in the commercial banking industry first as a branch manager. She went on to manage sales and streamline investor portfolios of high net worth individuals and mid-size businesses.
A graduate of Towson University, Brines holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance.
