Luxury apartment firm Striker Apartment Leasing on Feb. 3 announced its exclusive new contract with Spring Street Commons at 2 Spring Street in Newark. The new mixed-use development contains 84 residential units and three commercial spaces in one of Essex New Jersey’s most desirable districts.
Striker is offering three months free for small businesses that might need to downsize during pandemic recovery, and it is willing to work out deals for those in need.
The residential units are comprised of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments. Rent contracts range from $1750-$3000. Amenities include a rooftop lounge, gated parking, electric car charging stations, and smart home functionality. “We know small businesses are hurting right now so we’re willing to accommodate for the right tenants that are experiencing COVID induced hiccups. Our community needs those businesses and we have their back,” says Michelle Streicher, broker of record at Striker Leasing.
Commercial units include three ground floor spaces sized at 1,930, 1,260, and 2,035 square feet. With construction completed just weeks ago, local business owners have a clean slate to creatively pivot into the year with new plans whether they’re moving into a larger space or downsizing.
