Trina McSorley was elevated to executive vice president, Sturdy Savings Bank announced Monday.
McSorley, who served as senior vice president for eight years, is also the director of human resources for Cape May Court House-based Sturdy.
According to the bank, she also serves as board secretary and assistant corporate secretary.
“I am honored to accept this promotion to executive vice president at Sturdy Savings Bank,” McSorley said in a prepared statement. “It is rewarding to be recognized for my work and dedication to a job I enjoy and an institution that I believe puts its best foot forward for both its employees and customers.”
McSorley is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Hurman Resource Certification Institute and a Society for Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). She is also an active volunteer. According to Sturdy, she has participated in the Red Cross’ Operation Fireside for more than 10 years and serves on the boards of Volunteers in Medicine and Family Promise. She is a part of the Southern Shore HR Management Association and on the Cape May County Coast Guard Community Foundation Festival Committee.
Sturdy Savings has 14 branch locates in Cape May and Atlantic counties.
