Parsippany-based Wohlsen Construction Co.’s Delaware Valley Special Projects Group recently completed renovations to the first floor of Subaru of America’s office in Pennsauken.
The 48,000-square-foot building houses 152 call center seats to support Subaru dealerships throughout North America. All finishes match their state-of-the-art Subaru Headquarters building in Camden, which opened in 2018 and was also designed by the architect for this project, Granum a/i.
Among additions and renovations performed, Wohlsen added an interior Americans with Disabilities Act ramp and several sets of stairs to create a collaborative layout. The two-story central lobby atrium received brand new finishes and conference spaces. Featured in the large west side of the project are three main call floors, two refreshment stations, conference and breakout spaces, updated locker rooms and a fitness center. The east wing features a new cafeteria and seating area.
Wohlsen provides construction services in the commercial, senior living, education and health care markets, and maintains offices in Parsippany; Hamden, Conn.; Lancaster, Harrisburg and Berwyn, Pa.; Wilmington, Del.; Baltimore, Md.; and Vienna, Va.
