Summit Health recently celebrated the opening of a 100,000-square-foot multispecialty health care hub in Clifton, the provider announced Oct. 25.
Located at 1255 Broad St., near Route 3 and the Garden State Parkway, the state-of-the-art facility features 18 specialties, including primary care, family medicine, dermatology, orthopedics, urology, breast care, imaging, lab and comprehensive cancer care services.
The Clifton center houses 118 exam rooms, and a CityMD urgent care walk-in center also is located at the site.
“Building on our strong roots in Clifton, and throughout northern New Jersey, Summit Health’s new Clifton hub represents our ongoing patient-centered mission to provide high-quality, accessible care in the local community,” Summit Health and CityMD CEO Jeff Alter said in a statement.
More than 35 primary care and specialty physicians will attend to patients at the Clifton center, which boasts the latest technology to shorten exam times – including MRI, PET/CT scans, nuclear imaging, general and vascular ultrasound, screening and diagnostic 3D mammography, bone density testing and more.
Gensler, which has an office in Morristown, oversaw the facility’s modern architecture and design.
Headquartered in Berkeley Heights, Summit Health and CityMD have more than 2,800 providers across 370 locations in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Central Oregon.
