Jackson Hewitt signs on at Citivillage in Linden

Citivillage in Linden is a mixed-use development with a bus stop, 113 apartments, onsite eateries and new storefronts.

And on Feb. 17, Lee & Associates New Jersey announced Jackson Hewitt will join the roster of tenants at the property, after representing the tenant and landlord in a new retail lease for the tax service provider.

Jackson Hewitt signed on for 1,200 square feet, marking the team’s second office in Linden , according to Lee & Associates. There is also a location at 1050 W. Edgar Road.

Lee & Associates New Jersey Associate Kyle Janoczkin represented the tenant in the transaction for 1140 E. St. Georges Ave., while Vice President Sheneeza Ali represented the landlord, Citivillage by Ramani Group.

“I am happy to bring another tenant to the growing roster at Citivillage, with the macro scaled vision Mr. Ramani and my colleague, Sheneeza, have put together,” Janoczkin said. “I believe this location will be perfect for an established Jackson Hewitt location, who will serve the locals as well as provide a strong retail presence for this new property.”

In addition to offering an easy commute – within the state or to Manhattan – for residents, Citivillage also includes a large promenade, display windows and a dog run.
