Joining more than 600 other senior executives, Greg Braca is committing himself and his organization to advancing diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
On Thursday, Cherry Hill-based TD Bank announced Braca, its chief executive officer and president, has signed on to the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion pledge.
As part of the group of signatories, TD has promised to cultivate a workplace that welcomes and respects diverse perspectives and where employees feel encouraged to discuss diversity and inclusion, the bank said.
“Diversity and inclusion are core values at TD. It is part of who we are and everything we do. And today it’s never been more important,” Braca said in a prepared statement.
CEOs and executives from Accenture, BCG, Deloitte US, The Executive Leadership Council, EY, General Atlantic, KPMG, New York Life, Procter & Gamble and PwC form the steering committee which leads CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion. The group represents 85 industries, in all 50 states, and millions of employees around the world.

In March, Somerset-based Catalent also announced it had signed the pledge.
