Tech repair provider uBreakiFix by Asurion opened its newest location in Bridgewater at 610 Commons Way, the retailer announced October 14.
Personnel at uBreakiFix offer repair services for smartphones, tablets, computers, game consoles, smart speakers, drones and more. Repairers working for uBreakiFix have fixed more than 12 million devices company wide, according to the company, and can help with most tech mishaps.
Most basic repairs are completed in two hours or less, the company said.
“A computer that won’t start or a tablet that won’t charge is more than just an inconvenience,” said Hector Rivera, uBreakiFix district manager, in a statement. “When technology fails, it disconnects people from the rest of the world. At uBreakiFix, we understand your devices are tools to engage with others, which is why we take the work we do seriously. We’re here to serve the Bridgewater community for all electronics repair needs.”
The store is an authorized repair provider for some devices, including Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel smartphones. Customers can book a repair appointment online or come in for walk-in service.
Free, no-obligation diagnostics is available on all gadgets.
Co-founder Justin Wetherill established uBreakiFix in 2009 after he dropped and shattered his own smartphone, sparking the idea for a convenient, affordable repair option. Asurion acquired the retailer in 2019.
“We are excited to serve more people in Bridgewater with fast and affordable tech repair,” said uBreakiFIx CEO Dave Barbuto in a statement. “We all rely on our phones and laptops more than ever before, and at uBreakiFix our mission is bigger than repairing shattered screens and broken charge ports. We fix tech because people rely on tech to stay connected to things that are important to them. I look forward to serving this community through our new Bridgewater location.”
