Biz BriefsWhoÂs the fastest of them all? Last week the New Jersey Technology Council and professional-services firm Deloitte & Touche told us. Deloitte sponsored the annual New Jersey Technology Fast 50 event, in which awards went to the local tech firms with the highest rates of revenue growth in the technology sector. The winners included a mix of software, hardware and biotechnology firms. Antenna Software in Jersey City ranked No. 1. The company is a developer of mobile enterprise software that lets users link up with their databases and other office-based information while on the go. Antenna SoftwareÂs revenue grew from $61,000 in 2001 to about $9.9 million in 2005.
Access Integrated Technologies in Morristown, a provider of digital-cinema software and services was No. 2. Its revenue had climbed from $71,000 in 2001 to $10.7 million in 2005. Viatech in Eatontown, a maker of CPUs, motherboards and other computer hardware, rounded out the list of winners at No. 50. Its revenue grew from $9 million in 2001 to $19.4 million in 2005.
This yearÂs Garden State winners will become part of the national competition, vying for spots in the Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 500.
