Technical colleges’ parent names new EVP, CFO

Lincoln Educational Services Corporation, the parent company of Lincoln College of Technology and other post-secondary education institutions, announced Thursday that Brian Meyers has been named executive vice president and chief financial officer.Meyers’ appointment is effective Jan. 1, 2015, Lincoln said in a news release.

“Brian has been an integral part of our financial management leadership for 12 years and during the past three months has clearly demonstrated his capabilities to serve as chief financial officer of Lincolnn as we focus the company for the future,” Lincoln CEO Shaun McAlmont said in a prepared statement. “I look forward to working with him in the development and executing of financial strategies that will benefit our students, our corporate partners and our shareholders.”

Meyers has been fulfilling the duties of the position since Cesar Ribeiro took a medical leave of absence in September 2014. Ribeiro will leave the company effective Dec. 31, Lincoln said.

“We regret Cesar’s departure from Lincoln, although we are fully supportive of his need to refocus his energy on his health,” McAlmont said. “Cesar has made numerous contributions to Lincoln and we have greatly appreciated his dedication and leadership.”

Meyers has been with Lincoln since 2002, serving as senior vice president of finance and controller. He has more than 25 years of accounting and financial management experience overall.

Lincoln is the parent of six institutions in New Jersey and others around the country.
