H20 Wireless, a Locus Telecommunications brand, offers no-contract wireless services. According to Locus, it serves about one million customers and its national distribution network includes more than 100,000 retailers.
The deal is pending regulatory approval, however, if approved the acquisition would set Telrite as one of the largest pre-paid mobile virtual network operators, the company said.
Financial details were not disclosed.
In a release, Telrite said that operations at Locus will continue uninterrupted for the company and its 200 employees, while H20 Wireless customers and distributors will be privy to enhanced offerings provided by Telrite’s operation structure.
“The entire Telrite family is excited to work with Locus’ management, employees, and distributors to continue providing best-in-class service to customers,” Reggie McFarland, chief executive officer at Telrite, said in a release.
Telrite’s portfolio of companies includes Pure TalkUSA, Telrite Corp. and Life Wireless.
