Around the State – South JerseyMOUNT LAUREL PRICE Systems has won a contract worth up to $10 million to supply cost and schedule estimates and analysis solutions to the Internal Revenue Service, as part of the federal tax collection agency’s overall modernization program. The award is the latest in a series of major government contracts that PRICE’s Government Solutions division in Arlington, Va., has won within the last four months. Other contracts include those from the U.S. Navy, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of the Interior and the U.S. General Services Administration.

The Mount Laurel firm, which provides tools and consulting services that help organizations plan large projects and calculate their costs, had previously worked with the IRS in 2004, when the company applied its cost-modeling tools and methodologies to develop independent cost estimates for a portion of a modernized income tax system.
