Thrifty Car Rental Adds Four New Franchised Locations

The new stores are located in Denville and Freehold; Buffalo, N.Y.; and, Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.Thrifty Car Rental today announced that it has opened four new locations around the country including two in New Jersey. There are now 17 Thrifty Car Rental locations in the state. The new stores are located in Denville and Freehold; Buffalo, N.Y.; and, Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.

Thrifty Car Rental, a subsidiary of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group Inc., has 342 locations in the United States, 190 of which are franchise-owned and operated.

“While Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group Inc. has a strategy of operating corporately in the larger U.S. markets, we continue on a course of franchising in the mid to smaller markets,” said Jeff Cerefice, vice president of U.S. Franchise Operations.

The Thrifty Car Rental location in Denville is owned by Jeff Schneider and Bob Madurski, who also run a franchise in Morristown. Freehold owners Dustin Valenti and Dave Anderson own Thrifty Car Rental locations in Brick, East Brunswick, Eatontown, Keyport and Toms River.
