Tillis leadership team marks 19th acquisition at Imperial Dade - NJBIZ

Imperial Dade announced on Thursday it has acquired Edmar Cleaning Corp.

This is the 19 acquisition by the Jersey City-based disposable food service and janitorial supply distribution company while being led by Robert and Jason Tillis, Imperial Dade’s chief executive officer and president, respectively.

Edmar distributes paper, plastic, chemicals and janitorial supplies throughout the tri-state area. According to Imperial Dade, acquiring the Woodside, N.Y.-based company bolsters its own presence in that same market area including New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

“This acquisition will enhance our ability to serve Edmar’s customers as well as our own,” said Jason Tillis in a prepared statement. “We look forward to working with the Edmar team members and continuing to grow together.”
