Trader Joe’s has recalled butternut squash spirals sold in New Jersey stores over listeria concerns.
It has also recalled zucchini spirals, though according to a release the zucchini spirals were not sold in New Jersey.
Affected butternut squash spirals have a best by date of June 28. Consumers who have purchased the spirals should throw them out or return them to Trader Joe’s for a full refund.
Listeria can cause fever, muscle aches, nausea, or diarrhea.
To date, no illnesses have been reported.
