Triple Play is a weekly NJBIZ feature that asks top executives in New Jersey to talk about three things related to their industry.
Sam Harrison is President and COO of Linett & Harrison, a full-service marketing, advertising and branding agency based in Montville.
We asked Sam what three marketing tactics N.J. companies need to employ to stay relevant in 2015:
Use a 360-degree approach. In today’s ever-changing marketplace, it’s important that the marketing team leads the effort to develop innovative solutions utilizing all relevant communication vehicles to develop a 360-degree approach for consumer engagement.
You have Big Data … use it! Companies of all sizes are able now more than ever to gather, store and analyze information from and about consumers. It’s up to you to use the data to craft a more focused, targeted and personalized campaign that can drive customer engagement and ultimately increase sales.
Millennials, yes! … And everyone else, too. While it’s important to establish a workable strategy to connect with millennials, it’s important to remember that baby boomers and (Gen) Xers spend (a lot of) money and need to be marketed to as well. So, design a campaign that can reach all generations both as a whole and separately.
