Both the Trump Taj Mahal and Trump Plaza will now be permitted to offer online gaming when it launches statewide Nov. 26, following a five-day trial period beginning Nov. 21.
“We are very pleased to acknowledge that Trump Plaza and Trump Taj Mahal have received the third and fourth Internet gaming permits in the state of New Jersey,” Trump Entertainment Resorts CEO Robert Griffin said in an email. “This is very positive for the company and the Atlantic City market.”
Taj Mahal will partner with Ultimate Gaming, while Trump Plaza has reportedly chosen Betfair as its online partner.
The news of the casinos’ permits comes just a day after the Golden Nugget received its permit on Wednesday. The Borgata was the first Atlantic City casino to obtain its permit on Oct. 9.
