Somerset-based Velankani Communications Technologies, a provider of software and services for the telecommunications industry, announced that it has changed its name to VCTI.
This comprehensive rebranding bonds together automated intelligence software and expertise from Velankani Communications Technologies, Network Design Decisions Inc. (NDDI), and Velankani’s professional services team Velankani Software Private Limited, into one flagship brand, VCTI. According to the company, it signifies new growth opportunities in the area of Automated Intelligence in the access network.
Simultaneously, VCTI announced Sally Hudson has joined its leadership team as chief marketing officer.
Hudson will be responsible for spearheading the growth of the company’s automated intelligence products for access networks. She joins VCTI after an extensive career with service providers, where she has led new product development and high growth marketing initiatives for enterprise data, broadband and cloud services.

Sally is a native of Washington, D.C. and graduate of the University of Maryland. She has worked in Australia, Andorra and the U.S. and has been an active volunteer in her local community and on health issues accompanying vision loss.
