Secaucus-based wellness retailer The Vitamin Shoppe expanded its improved Healthy Awards loyalty program nationwide Monday after a successful pilot program.
The expanded version of the program is a three-tiered system of earning rewards points based on annual spend. Customers can earn awards up to 50 percent faster with a higher yearly spend, moving from Bronze to Silver to Gold levels.
“The customer relationship is the cornerstone of The Vitamin Shoppe’s reinvention,” said Chief Executive Officer Sharon Leite in a statement. “With over 90 percent of the company’s sales coming from Healthy Awards members, we are delighted to launch our new loyalty program as the first step in having a much more meaningful relationship with our customers.”
All Healthy Awards members earn $5 award with every 125 points. Depending on the tier they’re in, customers can also earn access to in-store wellness coaches, consultations with certified nutritionists, choose your own sale days, and bonus promotions.
Silver and Gold members have access to additional savings on store brand items and early access to member offerings.
