VNA Health Group is moving from Red Bank to Vonage’s Technology Center of Excellence in Holmdel, the two companies announced Wednesday.New Jersey’s largest nonprofit provider of home health, hospice and primary care will move both its headquarters and several other offices to the Vonage facility as part of a partnership with the cloud communications company.
Under the collaboration, Vonage’s technology and expertise will boost VNA Health Group’s Connected Health Institute, a digital health initiative supporting the elderly and young families with telehealth services. Vonage, meanwhile, will receive onsite health education programs and services through VNA Health Group.
“The board trustees and staff of VNA Health Group are looking forward to this new chapter in our organization’s history,” Dr. Steven Landers, CEO and president of VNA Health Group, said in a prepared statement. “The Vonage partnership will help us advance state-of-the-art connected health solutions that will better link patients, their caregivers and doctors with our clinicians. … A dedicated, entrepreneurial workforce deserves an innovative, creative workplace where they can thrive and grow professionally.”
VNA will begin relocating from its 1960s-era Red Bank location to the 88-acre Vonage campus during the first quarter of 2017. Some 200 VNA employees, currently at several different sites, will be brought together in the one central location once the move is complete.
“We are excited to bring our expertise in cloud communications technology to VNA Health Group as a signature customer in the health care space, providing them with tools to help them increase mobility, flexibility and productivity, particularly to meet the needs of their large mobile workforce and employees that are spread across multiple locations,” Vonage Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer David Pearson said in a statement. “Like Vonage, VNA has strong ties to the community, which is natural fit for us as we look to leverage our status as a leader in business communications to strengthen our support of local community organizations and become a destination place to work.”
