Wakefern Food Corp. is hosting a hiring fair May 12 at its corporate offices in Edison and in Breinigsville, Pa., to fill a number of open positions.
Wakefern seeks applicants for a variety of entry-level positions, including corporate procurement, customer care/service, logistics, and selector and truck driver positions on warehouse teams.

Keasbey-based Wakefern is the parent company to grocery banners including ShopRite, Price Rite Marketplace, The Fresh Grocer, Dearborn Market, Gourmet Garage and Fairway Market. The company says it offers competitive wages and benefit packages including medical, dental and retirement benefits and annual increases. Wakefern truck drivers are offered competitive hourly pay, the ability to return home daily, annual safe driving awards, and trucks with safety systems, the company said in a May 9 announcement.
The hiring fairs will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. at Wakefern’s office at 33 Northfield Ave. in Edison and at the Grocery West Distribution Center located at 8301 Industrial Blvd. in Breinigsville, Pa. Grocery West is seeking applicants for warehouse selectors and logistic administrators.
