Engineering design and environmental services firm French & Parrello Associates (FPA) of Wall said Friday it elevated Matthew Gizzi to chief financial officer and board treasurer.
With over 20 years of experience, Gizzi serves as the technical organization leader for FPA’s Geotechnical, Environmental, Construction Engineering and Materials Testing groups. In his role, his responsibilities include staff management and project implementation, as well as business development and client maintenance.
“For the past several years, Matt has worked closely with our chief operating officer and director of accounting in addressing the behind the scenes, complex financial matters associated with running a professional organization of our size,” said President and Chief Executive Officer James Heller. “With Matt’s promotion, we are confident that the financial affairs of our firm are in good hands.”
Gizzi’s projects have encompassed a wide variety of market sectors including transportation, utility, commercial, health care, hospitality and residential. He previously served as assistant treasurer for the firm’s board of directors.
Gizzi has a Master’s Degree specializing in Geotechnical Engineering and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, both from Rutgers University.
