With an eye on next week’s National Telework Week, WalletHub launched a Telework Savings Calculator on its website. The calculator, which debuted on the site Wednesday, allows people to input information regarding their vehicle, commute and number of days they’d like to work from home.It then provides an estimated annual savings based on those factors.
Of the states with the highest annual telenetwork savings on average, New Jersey ranked fifth with $11,276.
The complete Top 5 states with the most savings, including the District of Columbia, were:

3. Maryland ($11,725)
2. New York ($11,974)
1. Washington, D.C. ($14,264)
The national average of savings, according to WalletHub, was $10,594 annually per person, with a total savings of $900 billion and 3.6 million tons of greenhouse gas emissions annually by allowing more people to work from home.
