Earlier this week, the partner-in-charge for EisnerAmperLLP’s Garden State outlets was elevated to the new position of vice chair.
On Tuesday, the advisory, tax and accounting services firm announced Diane Wasser will succeed Jay Weinstein in his former position as partner-in-charge of New Jersey offices. In the new role, she will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and the long-term growth strategy for the state’s three locations—accounting for more than 400 professionals.
In a statement, Chief Executive Officer Charly Weinstein doubled-down on his declaration of the firm’s growth from earlier in the week, calling attention to EisnerAmper’s expanding footprint, staff and services.
“Today’s rapidly changing world requires that we continuously align our leadership responsibilities with our strategy and vision,” he said. “We wish Nick, Diane, Peter and Matt well in their new roles, and we’re confident that these appointments will enhance the firm’s ability to effectively execute on that strategy.”
Wasser is based in the Iselin office and, according to the firm, is also the founder and partner-in-charge for the Pension Services Group.
The firm also announced elevations for New York-based employees: Nichola Tsafos was promoted to partner-in-charge for the New York Office; Peter Cogan was named managing partner, Financial Services Industry; and Matthew Maulbeck will serve as managing partner, Audit.
EisnerAmper has additional New Jersey locations in Pennington and Princeton.
