Station Bay in South Amboy recently celebrated the start of work that will bring a new commuter ferry to the city, just steps from the waterfront community. Now, the development from BNE Real Estate Group has its own cause for celebration, moving past the 50% leased mark less than three months since opening.
Livingston-based BNE announced the milestone for the collection of 291 luxury residences June 6, along with the opening of Station Bay’s outdoor pool and private cabanas.
According to the developer, the community is the first part of a $500 million, multiphase redevelopment project that is reimagining the Raritan Bay waterfront in South Amboy.
“We’re excited about the strong leasing velocity at Station Bay and the number of residents who are already living here,” said BNE Partner Jonathan Schwartz in a statement. “We’ve been big believers in the enormous untapped potential of South Amboy and take pride in the fact that our community is actively transforming the waterfront into a vibrant new residential destination that will be enhanced by the addition of ferry service to New York City.”
Station Bay also offers residents train service with nearby access to the city’s NJ Transit station and 37,000 square feet of amenities and social spaces. Covered parking and 24/7 maintenance are also available onsite.
The property is located off Radford Ferry Road, near South Amboy’s downtown, the South Amboy Beach and the Raritan Bay Waterfront Park — home to the annual South Amboy Seafood Festival — a 114-acre nautical-themed recreation area with athletic fields, bocce courts, walking trails, playgrounds and more.
Monthly rents at Station Bay start from $2,125 with limited time Grand Opening specials running now, offering up to two months free, and more.
