Wawa will open two new Middlesex County stores in Edison and North Brunswick on Aug. 19.
Grand opening events on that day will feature giveaways and music; and the first 100 people through the door at each store at 8:00 a.m. will receive free limited-edition Wawa t-shirts.
“At Wawa, our core purpose is to go beyond filling orders to fulfill lives, every day, and that has never been stronger than it is now as we embark on a new year full of new growth, new jobs, and an enhancement of the way we deliver the Wawa experience through what we call, ‘Boundless Convenience,” said Chief Executive Officer and President Chris Gheysens in a prepared statement.
“As new stores open throughout the year, we will continue to bring not just a new Wawa to the community but a commitment to safety and growth. We look forward to meeting all our new friends and neighbors in the Middlesex County community!” Gheysens said.
The new Middlesex County locations will offer mobile ordering, curbside pickup and delivery options, and will feature the latest in Wawa’s fresh, quality and convenient food options.
The grand opening events, which start at 8 a.m., will include a charitable Hoagies for Heroes hoagie-building competition featuring local police and fire department members with $1,000 donations given to each charity selected by the participants.
The Edison store is located at 580 Route 1 and the North Brunswick store is located at 1910 Route 27.
