Wegmans recalls ready-to-cook meat, seafood items

According to its website, the affected products include Wegmans Ready To Cook Garlic Parmesan Tilapia, Wegmans Ready To Cook Shrimp Scampi, Wegmans Ready To Cook Lobster & Shrimp Steam Pot with Clam Juice, Wegmans Ready To Cook Garlic Parmesan Chicken Breast, Wegmans Ready To Cook Tom Tom Shrimp with Sauce, and Wegmans Ready To Cook Chicken Breast Teriyaki with Mushrooms.

The recall is a Class II recall, for which the FDA guidelines are “products that might cause a temporary health problem, or pose only a slight threat of a serious nature.”

Customers can return affected products, which have freeze-by dates between Jan. 15 and Jan. 23, for a full refund.

Wegmans spans six states through the mid-Atlantic and New England regions, including nine stores throughout New Jersey.
