Alison Horbach of Ripco negotiated the lease on behalf of the restaurant chain, and will continue to seek sites between 900 and 1,700 square feet throughout the state.
“Wok to Walk is extremely excited to bring the Wok to Walk brand to Hoboken,” Elliot Ramos, president of Wok to Walk U.S. Management, said. “We look forward to sharing our delicious, freshly made food with the community. Our Wokists have mastered the fire juggling cooking technique so that they can entertain each guest while waiting for their food. We will continue expanding the brand throughout northern New Jersey, New York and Washington, D.C.”
The restaurant chain has more than 70 restaurants in Europe, Asia, Africa, South America and New York. Its new location, 19 Washington St., opened less than six months after the opening of its first location, in Newark, in February.
“Wok to Walk offers up a category of fast casual food that is lacking in Hoboken,” Horbach said. “We are thrilled with the prime location secured within this dense market and confident that the brand will be a welcome addition to the community.”
Ripco’s New Jersey office is based in Lyndhurst.
