CarePoint Health’s Christ Hospital in Jersey City celebrated the opening of its Women’s Health Pavilion on May 19 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The new center, technology, service offerings and enhanced scheduling makes the Women’s Health Pavilion, located on the third floor in the Main Hospital Tower building, a service destination for imaging services in Hudson County.
The Women’s Imaging Division of CarePoint Health offers a comprehensive range of women’s imaging services performed by expert radiologists, including digital screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, DEXA, general ultrasound as well as interventional procedures like uterine fibroid embolization and hysterosalpingograms. The division also offers the full spectrum of image-guided biopsies of the breast, including cyst aspiration, ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration and MRI-guided biopsy.
“This truly exciting initiative will bring world-class comprehensive medical care to Hudson County. Offering the full cohort of diagnostic and interventional procedures, the Women’s Health Pavilion will utilize state-of-the-art technology overseen by fellowship-trained board-certified radiologists,” said Dr. Vivek Masson, system chairman of radiology. “Our community can feel confident they are getting the best care possible right here in Hudson County,”
