Initial occupancy is set for early next year, but after officially launching sales just last month, a historic former factory in Hoboken has hit the halfway-sold mark.
On Monday, Wonder Lofts shared the news that 50% of its 83 loft-style residences have sold.
“The rapid sales pace at Wonder Lofts reflects the design distinction of this boutique property, the homes’ uncommonly expansive living spaces, the robust offering of indoor and outdoor amenities, and our commitment to preserving and enhancing the fabric of the family-oriented Hoboken community,” said Prism Capital Partners Senior Vice President – Residential Robert Fourniadis. “This is a one-of-a-kind property that has appealed to buyers from both sides of the Hudson River who recognize the rarity of having the living space of a brownstone, townhome or single-family home with the amenities of a modern condominium building, all in a fantastic, well-connected neighborhood.”
Having baked fresh loaves from the 1910s to the 1960s, according to an announcement, Wonder Lofts at 720 Clinton St. was developed by Prism Capital Partners at the historic Wonder Bread Factory in partnership with Parkwood Development and Angelo Gordon. Offering two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom floor plans ranging from 1,200 square feet to 2,700 square feet, each home also includes its own parking space in a secure, onsite garage and up to 1,900 square feet of private outdoor space.
The community stretches across the street, where a newly constructed five-story building offers 15 residences.
An onsite sales gallery and furnished model homes styled by Serena & Lily offers prospective buyers the opportunity to experience the building’s contemporary redesign.
Wonder Loft residents will enjoy 14,400 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities ranging from a children’s playroom, full gym and screening room to electric car charging stations and a pet grooming area.
Hoboken-based MVMK Architecture + Design served as project architect at Wonder Lofts; Manhattan-based Workshop/APD served as interior designer; and CORE is the exclusive sales and marketing agent for the property.
Homes are priced from $1.3 million for two-bedroom, $1.66 million for three-bedroom, $2 million for four-bedroom and $3.35 million for five-bedroom units.
