The Adecco Group, parent company of Lee Hecht Harrison, a Woodcliff Lake-based consulting firm, announced Wednesday that it has purchased Toronto-based Knightsbridge Human Capital Solutions for $63 million.LHH, according to a news release, will be combined with Knightsbridge, a provider of career transition, talent and leadership development and recruitment services. Adecco will acquire Knightsbridge’s career development and executive recruitment operations.
“Knightsbridge joining forces with Lee Hecht Harrison will significantly benefit the clients of both organizations in Canada and around the world,” Peter Alcide, president of Lee Hecht Harrison, said in a prepared statement. “Companies today seek to partner with organizations that can globally deliver world-class talent development and career transition services seamlessly and consistently. The combined organization in Canada will be co-branded and will enhance the market-leading services we offer companies to ensure they are best optimizing their talent.”
The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2015.
