Yorktel will acquire the business assets of a Somerset-based audio video integration company Video Corporation of America, the Eatontown-based company announced on Feb. 18.
“With very little overlap in our respective customer portfolios, the team at VCA brings extensive experience in audio and video systems integration that will enhance Yorktel’s existing capabilities, including engineering, fabrication, field resources, digital signage, and help desk support,” Yorktel President and Chief Operating Officer Ken Scaturro said in a prepared statement.
According to Yorktel, VCA was founded in 1972 and provides audio visual, post-production and broadcast, digital signage and unified communications services. The company also said VCA has a 25,000-square-foot fabrication studio in the New York City area that it would leverage to meet customer demand.
“Both our companies share the same values, long history, and commitment to customer success,” VCA President Dave Berlin said in a prepared statement. “I am proud to be able to bring VCA’s legacy of technical innovation, deep domain expertise and strong customer relationships to Yorktel.”
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
